![]() Accreditation Standards are the set rules and regulations against which an educational institution is evaluated and selected to become our member. All the new applicants are requested to abide by these rules consistently once they become our members. These factors can be changed and altered when felt necessary. Promotion and Advertising Rules all the promotional material including the ads, banners should be truthful and provide a dignified image of the institution and its programs. No false claims can be added in the campaigns. All statements regarding financial aid must include a disclaimer to clearly state that availability is only valid for those who qualify. Admission Policies and Practices Before enrolling the student, the institution is bound to provide complete information and advise each applicant of the educational program’s demands and scope. In order to make an ultimate decision, they must be provided with a catalog before enrolment. Instructional Materials IACOOS member institutions must have a complete virtual database and library facilities and holdings sufficient to support the programs offered and the size of student population served. Instructional materials should reflect current occupational practices. All the programs should include instructional and courses outlines. Faculty Staff The institution must be consistent with professional and highly qualified instructors. The faculty must be experienced in their relevant field of study and should be trained for the job they are doing. The educational institutions must obtain the credentials of the faculty members. Student Progress The institution must inform their students to uphold punctuality and apprise them of their progress throughout the completion of the program. The appraisals must be given on a regular basis. |
